Prospect Watch, Week 7: fourteen cards in the field
If the season ended today, fourteen of the 32 Prospects cards would take +5. Mykel Williams is the safest at 95%, Cleveland at Pittsburgh on Sunday is the biggest game on the calendar, and five of the six cards rated 90 or higher are on teams below 50%.
A Prospects card takes a one-time +5 to every rating if its player’s team makes the Playoffs, and stays as pulled if it does not. Prospect Watch follows all 32 cards in Prospects #1 and Prospects #2 every week: the team’s record, its last five results, and its chance of making the field. When a team gets in, raise that card’s rating by five in your own collection. Nothing does it for you.
The odds are one number built from twelve sources: Kalshi and Polymarket, bet365 and DraftKings, six published projection models including ESPN’s, and two simulations of the 165 games left, run with the league’s tiebreakers. Where they disagree, it is nearly always over one question: whether a team’s record or its scoring margin is the better guide to the next ten games.
Who is in?
Fourteen cards are on teams holding a playoff seed today, the rows with a green edge in the table. Jared Verse leads them at 91, and Mykel Williams at 90 is the safest of them at 95%.
Ten of them are on teams at 58% or better, and four, the 49ers, Bills, Chiefs and Vikings, are at 90% or higher. The other four are in today at between 38% and 51%.
JARED VERSE — DE, Cleveland Browns. The highest-rated card in the field, and the shakiest. Cleveland is 5–2 and holds the AFC’s third seed, but it has been outscored by 13, and the markets put it at 38%. Sunday’s trip to Pittsburgh is the biggest game either set has this week: a win takes the Browns to 58%, a loss drops them to 28%.
ABDUL CARTER — LB, New York Giants. The Giants lead the NFC East at 4–2–1 on a points margin of +2. The division is weak enough to carry them, and the odds land on a coin flip at 51%. The trip to Philadelphia in Week 9 is a 24-point swing: 58% with a win, 34% with a loss.
MATTHEW GOLDEN — WR, Green Bay Packers. In as the seventh seed, a tiebreaker ahead of Seattle, in the best division in football by record. Minnesota is 6–0, Chicago 5–2 and Detroit 4–2, and Detroit beat Green Bay in Week 7. 46%.
JA'TAVION SANDERS — TE, Carolina Panthers. Carolina leads the NFC South at 3–3, which makes it the fourth seed today. The division winner goes in whatever its record, so the four teams are mostly racing for one spot. Carolina is 38% to come out of it in the field.
On the bubble
Six cards are outside today with odds of 30% or better.
TREVEYON HENDERSON — RB, New England Patriots. First team out in the AFC at 4–3, and still 71%, because of what is left: the fifth-easiest schedule in the league.
ZACH CHARBONNET — RB, Seattle Seahawks. Out on a tiebreaker with Green Bay, and the better team on the scoreboard: Seattle’s +43 is the third-best margin in the NFC. Chicago visits on Sunday. A win puts Seattle at 82%, a loss at 56%.
MALAKI STARKS — S, Baltimore Ravens. The widest split between markets and models of any card: 65% in the markets, 44% in the models. Baltimore is 4–3 and ninth in the AFC, and plays at Buffalo on Sunday before hosting Jacksonville.
TYLER BOOKER — OG, Dallas Cowboys. 3–4, but only a game and a half behind the Giants in a division nobody has run away with. Arizona visits on Sunday: 60% with a win, 39% with a loss.
KAMREN KINCHENS — S, Los Angeles Rams. The card the sources disagree on most, anywhere from 9% to 55%. The Rams are 3–4 with a +11 margin and the markets rate them a top-eight team, but no one in the league has a harder schedule left.
XAVIER WATTS — S, Atlanta Falcons. Half a game behind Carolina for the NFC South. No NFC team has more riding on Sunday than Atlanta at Tampa Bay: 51% with a win, 23% with a loss.

Risers and fallers
- WatchJared Verse — 5–2 and in the field, but outscored by 13. Sunday at Pittsburgh decides which way he goes.
- WatchKamren Kinchens — Anywhere from 9% to 55% depending on who you ask, with the hardest schedule left in the league.
- WatchMalaki Starks — The markets like Baltimore far more than the models do. Buffalo, then Jacksonville, will settle it.
