FHC turns four with an 85 Alex Anzalone for nine cards and no average, plus two challenges you can repeat, missions and a new set. All three challenges close at 08:00 UTC on 23 October. Three Big Guava linebackers, one from each band, cover the city and linebacker rows.
FHC is four, and the game is marking it with an event that runs from 20 to 23 October: a challenge that pays an 85 Alex Anzalone, Birthday Missions, Birthday Bundles and a new set of fifteen cards. Beside it sit two challenges you can run as often as you like. All three challenges close at 08:00 UTC on 23 October.
The Birthday challenge
The Birthday challenge asks for nine cards and sets no average: three Bronze, three Silver and three Gold, with three Big Guava cards and three linebackers among them. It pays Anzalone’s FHC Birthday card, an 85 linebacker with 86 SPD, 83 TAK and 88 AWR, and the game says it cannot be sold.
The three bands come to nine, so every slot already belongs to a metal, and the city and the linebackers have to land on cards you are placing anyway. Take three Big Guava linebackers, one from each band, and both of those rows are done in three cards:
- Gold: Rueben Bain Jr. at 77
- Silver: Yaya Diaby at 74, David Walker at 73, Anzalone’s own card at 72, Al-Quadin Muhammad at 69, Anthony Nelson at 68 or Josiah Trotter at 65
- Bronze: Christian Rozeboom or Chris Braswell at 61, or SirVocea Dennis at 60
The other six are any two Bronzes, two Silvers and two Golds. With no average to reach, a higher rating inside a band buys nothing, so use the cards you would miss least.
Two challenges you can repeat
Repeatable Event #1 and #2 can be run again and again until they close with Birthday. Neither asks for an average:
- Repeatable Event #1: two Golds, two Silvers and two Bronzes, for a 78+ player
- Repeatable Event #2: one Rare Gold, two Golds, two Silvers and two Bronzes, with a Team of the Week card among the seven, for an 86+ player
The Team of the Week card in #2 does not need a slot of its own. It counts as the band its rating falls in, so at 85 or better it is the Rare Gold, and at 83 or 84 it is one of the Golds. Team of the Week cards fill Gold slots too works through it.
Missions and bundles
Birthday Missions run from 20 to 23 October, and completing their objectives pays an FHC Birthday Mission Pack. Birthday Bundles carry special rarity cards, coins and Energy.
The news names Deshaun Watson at 89, Andrew Van Ginkel at 91, Jamel Dean at 88 and Alec Pierce at 87 among the cards in the packs. All of them are in the FHC Birthday set, fifteen cards led by Quinnen Williams at 95, Tyler Linderbaum at 94 and Harrison Butker at 92.
Build Birthday first: it is the one that pays a named card, and it closes with the other two at 08:00 UTC on 23 October.
